Cooperation with SAP

Cooperation between Studio Gambit and SAP has developed since February 2007 when we efficiently realized our first major project for this client: the translation of the SAP HCM Country Manual from Polish into English. Since then we have successfully undertaken numerous orders for the translation of documentation and marketing materials, as well as localization, in several language combinations: English-Polish, German-Polish and Polish-English.

Our principal workforce responsible for handling orders from SAP are several dozen highly qualified translators, proofreaders and terminology coordinators, some working in-house at the company's headquarters in Gdańsk and others working outside our headquarters. This team is supported by two project managers and SAP software online translation trainers: three terminology coordinators that have qualified for and obtained the status of power user together with extensive authorizations in SAP systems.

All of the team members have impressive experience in software localization and translation within the area of Business IT, and especially ERP, CRM, SCM and BI systems. They continually improve their skills by regularly participating in SAP trainings organized at SAP headquarters in Walldorf or provided in the section of the SAP Partner Portal designed for translators. Thanks to those resources they are very well familiar with all the technical aspects of working on an online system, and they are up-to-date with terminology and formal changes. Since 2008 they have also been very much occupied with the translation of documentation and software for Business Objects.

Our desktop publishing department has obtained a particularly high recognition for its quality and efficiency. At present, we are using Adobe InDesign CS3 and MS Word to deliver ready-to-print SAP documentation in all EMEA languages.

Certified SAP Vendor

In December 2009, following SAP’s audit of Studio Gambit, we officially obtained the title of "Certified SAP Translation Vendor for the language combination: English/German-Polish". This certification acknowledges both our versatile language competence and our invariably careful execution of all types of services for SAP. The new vendor certification values our flexibility, professionalism and the ability to complete large projects within short deadlines with versatility and professionalism, accompanied by excellent communication.
