Cooperation with SAP

The cooperation between Studio Gambit and SAP has been developing since February 2007 when we realized our first commission from this client with high efficiency: the translation of the SAP HCM Country Manual from Polish into English. Since then on we have successfully taken up numerous orders for the translation of documentation and marketing materials, as well as localization, in several directions: English-Polish, German-Polish and Polish-English.

Our principal workforce responsible for the SAP jobs are several dozen highly qualified translators, proofreaders and terminology coordinators working partly in-house at the company's headquarters in Gdańsk and partly on a freelance basis. This team is supported by two project managers and SAP software online translation trainers: three terminology coordinators that have qualified for and gained the power user status together with extensive authorizations in SAP systems.

All of the above can pride themselves on their impressive experience in software localization and translation within the area of Business IT, and especially ERP, CRM, SCM and BI systems. They are becoming even more competent by participating regularly in SAP trainings organized at SAP headquarters in Walldorf or provided in the section of SAP Partner Portal designed for translators. Thanks to those resources they are very well acquainted with all and any technical aspects of working online for SAP, and always up-to-date with terminology and formal changes. Since 2008, they have also been very much occupied with translations and terminology jobs for SAP's biggest takeover, Business Objects.

SAP also has a particularly high opinion of our desktop publishing for its quality and efficiency. At present, we are using Adobe InDesign CS3 and MS Word to deliver ready-to-print SAP documentation in all EMEA languages.

Certified SAP Vendor

In December 2009, following the SAP audit of Studio Gambit, we were officially announced “Certified SAP Translation Vendor for the language combination: English/German-Polish”. This certification acknowledges our versatile language competence to translate SAP software and related documentation with invariably accomplished style. The new vendor certification values our flexibility, professionalism and the ability to close huge projects within short deadlines, accompanied by excellent communication.
